…Hello there.
I’ll be brief. I don’t want to keep you waiting.
This is a universe different from the one you know. People play different roles, for better or for worse. While one may deem it a swap, it’s not that cut in dry. What seems unchanged may have been altered irreconcilably from what you know, while some things may seem oddly familiar. As this tale diverges, the fate of our protagonists will change more and more. Already their relations, their identities, their selves have shifted.
Four kids will play a game.
That will never change, though. Nothing can change it.
A sort-of Swap AU I call the Spin AU, for virtue of the swaps being less literal here and there. Details and lives changed, people changed, yet at its core, how much is really different? Follow the alpha kids in shoes they were never meant to wear, and the disaster that follows from our dear friend the butterfly effect.
Seven chapters were completed. I may share the planning doc that contains the first half of the story. It will never be continued. I'm happier moving on to smaller projects.
